Converse Japan is no stranger to piecemeal colorways, but the new Chuck Taylor “COMBISWEAT” is a different beast. The half-and-half shoe is constructed from contrasting hues of woven cotton, offering the same soft comfort as a cozy sweater. Available in classic grey/black and turquoise/purple makeups, the shoe is elevated by an oversized vintage logo printed on the lateral side towards the heel.
The new sneakers hit Converse Japan’s web store on December 18.
Most recently, the Western branch of Converse introduced a GORE-TEX-lined Chuck Taylor for winter.
