'Gundam' x Uniqlo UT 40th Anniversary Capsule

2019 marks the 40th anniversary of famed anime Mobile Suit Gundam, and to celebrate Japanese fast fashion retailer Uniqlo has launched a special capsule collection under its UT line.

Comprised of 12 graphic short-sleeved tees, each piece pays homage to the show’s iconic characters including Amuro, Ramba Ral and RX-78 Gundam. Along with the colorful options, some tees come with a pocket on the left chest decorated with simple detailing such as “RX-78-2.” For those customers who purchase two or more shirts, one of two special HG Gunpla models will also gifted. Unfortunately the models will only be available in Japan and while supplies last.

The Gundam x Uniqlo UT collection is now available to purchase at all Uniqlo locations and online for $14.90 USD per tee.
