July 2019 Week 4 Drops W/ Nike, BAPE, ASSC & More

With another week, we have another installment of our product drops series this time marked once again by a host of heavyweight collaborations. Leading the list is Nike and Stone Island‘s tech-heavy golf capsule and a garment offering to go along with the Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low and Blazer GT release around the corner.

Other standout team ups include special frames from Thierry Lasry and Enfants Riches Déprimés, a range from mastermind JAPAN and New Era, a graphic-heavy capsule from Anti Social Social Club and NEIGHBORHOOD and BAPE immortalized Wiz Khalifa with a playful selection. Rounding up this week’s drops is the latest selection from Fear of God ESSENTIALS and Doublet‘s Fall/Winter 2019 collection.

Key items this week include the Nike x Stone Island Raso-R 3L Jacket, Doublet’s hand-painted fur jackets, the mastermind JAPAN x New Era caps and the Anti Social Social Club x NEIGHBORHOOD Cobra Incense Chamber.

Fear of God ESSENTIALS Fall/Winter 2019 Collection

Continuing to establish its ESSENTIALS line, Fear of God recently dropped new minimal pieces for FW19. This time around, the latest selection is comprised of a round of cotton blend hoodies, crewnecks and sweatpants in taupe and grey.

Each item features a simple “ESSENTIALS” logo, applied on the back of the tops and more prominently on the front of the bottoms. Aside from fleece lounge pants, we also receive a pair of cargos crafted in 100 percent cotton for a more functional option. Rounding up the release are a duo of coated canvas bags, including a branded duffle and a backpack carrying options.

Enfants Riches Déprimés x Thierry Lasry Isolar Sunglasses

Adding to its collaborations, Thierry Lasry recently teamed up with Enfants Riches Déprimés to rework its chunky Isolar frames.

Crafted in France, the rectangular frames are constructed in acetate marked with subtle branding details. The three iterations come in a tortoise-esque colorway with dark-green lenses, a clear iteration with similarly-colored lenses, and a black iteration with minor striped detailing and pink lenses. Each collaborative frame also comes with a special protective case.

Doublet Fall/Winter 2019 Collection

Expressing the fun side of fashion, Doublet‘s FW19 collection features a host of hidden details that promote playful styling.

Intricately designed, pieces like the 5-layered socks, turtle neck sweater that acts as a balaclava when unfolded, a white button-up with glow-in-the-dark prints and fur jacket complete with hand-painted graphics challenge the idea of functionality. Humour and cold-weather necessity serve as major design points on standout pieces like the embroidered tracksuits, billowing corduroy jackets and hand-painted leather gloves.

Stone Island x Nike Golf Collection

Nike and Stone Island have come together for an unexpected tech-heavy golf capsule. The special capsule has been constructed to accommodate the normal range of motion experienced with a swing and includes various pockets for holding the likes of golf balls, tees and gloves.

Military specification cotton, weather-resistant textiles and adaptive fibers in order to help control body temperature throughout gameplay have been utilized throughout the unique range. Notable items include a 3-layer fabric Raso-R 3L Jacket, which features an outer shell of cotton satin raso, a water-resistant and windproof membrane and a nylon backing. The interior is also lined with a Nike Hyperadapt panel for ventilation. The crewneck, is constructed of comfort tech composite material, made up of “super stretch and highly breathable” nylon layers alongside a polyester substrate that has been interestingly garment dyed.

mastermind JAPAN x New Era Capsule Collection

mastermind JAPAN and New Era have come together on a capsule collection comprised of simply designed apparel and headwear. The black-themed range is comprised of long- and short-sleeve T-shirts and three cap options. Decorating the range is mastermind’s iconic skull motif done in contrasting white and choice hits of New Era’s signature logo.

Anti Social Social Club x NEIGHBORHOOD Capsule

Anti Social Social Club and Japanese streetwear brand NEIGHBORHOOD have put together yet another logo-heavy capsule of street essentials.

This time around, the special range is comprised of hoodies, both long- and short-sleeved T-shirts to choice outerwear jackets, an umbrella and an incense chamber. Unfortunately, the transparent black hood lined jacket will be a Japan-only release, while the pink accented one will be a global release. But the sure to be coveted incense chamber shaped like a cobra available in either a gold or silver will be released globally.

Wiz Khalifa x BAPE Spring/Summer 2019 Collection

Continuing to collaborate with superstar rappers, BAPE has teamed up with Wiz Khalifa on a playful selection centered around an illustration of the rapper alongside Baby Milo.

Leading the collaboration is a Shark Face Hoodie marked with an APE Head graphic that sports Khalifa’s signature dreads and a pair of white sunglasses. Accompanying crewnecks and short-sleeved T-shirts come emblazoned with the aforementioned Baby Milo and APE Head motifs, along with a Khalifa’s graffiti-style logo.

Parra x Nike SB Apparel Range

With the release of the Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low and Blazer GT around the corner, we now have a full look at the accompanying apparel collection.

The special range is comprised of a polo shirt, short-sleeve T-shirt, athletics trousers, cap and socks dressed in illustrations and colors associated with the Dutch artist. Contrasting the collaborative sneakers, the garments are done in the same darker tone found on the “Friends & Family” Dunk Low that recently surfaced. Other design elements found throughout the range include stripes, embroidery and stacked multicolor Swooshes.
