Designed by KEF in collaboration with renowned designer Michael Young, the LSX speakers look as good as they sound. Wrapped and finished in luxury fabric from famed Danish textile manufacture Kvadrat, the series is inspired by KEF’s tone-on-tone concept and is available in five unique colors: gloss white, maroon, olive, blue, and black. The many options will fit any interior style it may find itself displayed in. The back of the master speaker features all the ports you’ll need, from a TOSLINK optical port, AUX and ethernet ports, to a subwoofer output. Both speakers have individual AC outputs allowing you to connect them to the mains or outlet. The speakers also feature a color-changing LED which indicates what audio source you’re currently using.
Driving the speakers, the LSX is equipped with the Uni-Q driver array as well as KEF’s highly advanced Music Integrity Engine — a collection of bespoke Digital Signal Processing algorithms — to provide the best sound quality possible. Connected wirelessly, they can give you a sample rate of 48kHz/24-bit, and while using a cable does make a noticeable difference, the audio quality is nevertheless very high when used wirelessly. For audiophiles, running an ethernet cable between the two speakers will fully engage the four Class-D amplifiers, which can provide a high quality digital signal of up to 96kHz/24-bit. AUX or optical connections are also available.
