From the song Lucky, “Isn’t she lovely, this Hollywood girl?” the iconic, American singer Britney Spears is back again in the limelight, debuting the La Collection Memento N°2 for Kenzo.
Joined by the likes of her fans on social media, the American singer and Hollywood star shared the news with her 18.9 million Instagram followers on Tuesday, announcing her new campaign: “So excited to announce my new campaign for @KENZO’s La Collection Memento N°2 shot by @therealpeterlindbergh!!!”
Though this the first-ever major fashion campaign for Spears, the luxury fashion house has put on a show fit for the lovely 36-year-old Queen of Pop, showing her in the latest Kenzo’s multiple streetwear styles, and sashaying effortlessly with the house’s signature “Bamboo Tiger” print, cropped sweatshirts, backpacks, and Noughties-inspired denim bralettes, jackets as well as thigh-high boots.
The denim-on-denim collection modelled by Spears was a nod to the runway debut of Kenzo Jeans in 1986.
The recent Kenzo campaign has also seen famous faces, including actresses Natasha Lyonne, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Jesse Williams, as well as musician Kelsey Lu posing for the house’s project.
