On Newsstands: WOW Thailand Summer 2020

World of Watches Thailand publishes a beautiful 23rd issue while the team works from home. It features a number of novelties from the digital version of Watches & Wonders Geneva 2020, as well as intriguing opinion pieces on a diverse range of topics that make watch collecting more meaningful.

“We managed to overcome the challenges brought by Covid-19 and produced a beautiful print issue for the months of June, July and August while working from home,” says Editor-in-Chief Ruckdee Chotjinda. “While we do not have the usual number of original photo shoots, we did what we could given the circumstances and ensured that the level of quality is the same as you have come to expect from us.”

This 23rd issue of WOW Thailand begins with a showcase of novelties, some from the digital version of Watches & Wonders Geneva 2020 and some from individual releases by the different watch brands.

It is made even stronger with other interesting reads such as the in-depth feature on watchmaking jargons for newcomers, and a conversation style exchange of opinions between the editors of WOW Thailand and WOW Singapore for more seasoned collectors.

Two of our key interviewees for this issue hail from the Vallée de Joux: the CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre and the Heritage and Museum Director of Audemars Piguet.

“The overall vibe is quite positive. We look at the status quo and make the best out of it. With hope, conditions will improve for Thailand and the rest of the world so we can regain some sense of normalcy. Until then, please enjoy our Reflection 2020 issue, take care and stay healthy,” concludes Ruckdee.
