Twelvepieces' "Roots" Collection Speaks to Egyptian Heritage

Twelvepieces‘ second collection dubbed “Roots,” conscripts to a profound minimalistic identity summed up well by novel The Alchemist. Founded by 24-year-old Amir Hassan to promote cultural understanding of the Middle East, the brand’s second capsule stays true to its Egyptian roots — offering pieces inspired by traditional Arabic garbs. Hassan reinvents the tunic style popularized by producer DJ Snake on his “Encore” album cover in shorter Sahara-toned silhouettes. The breadth of work also offers a refreshing take on women’s apparel.

Take a sneak peak of the “Roots” collection’s visually captivating lookbook above. The second installment will be available for purchase on December 12 online & in select stores.
