Twitter has suspended the account of infamous leakers, Yeezy Mafia. The platform lost its blue approval checkmark after Kim Kardashian West accused the group of sharing false information and said she’d made calls to shut down the account. West’s tweets were made on March 6 and now, more than a month later, the account has been suspended.
What has also changed in that time is that Kanye West also re-activated his Twitter account, which may have had something to do with the suspension. Yeezy Mafia is still active on Instagram, where they alluded to the issues in an Instagram story pointing out to their “backup Twitter account while we sort things out.”
