It Was Written is the second album by QueensBridge, New York Rapper Nas (Nasir Jones). The album was released on July 2nd, 1996. Some Listeners claim that It Was Written is a better album then Nas’s Classic debut Album Illmatic. Unlike Illmatic, It Was Written was commercially successful. The producers on this album include DJ Premier, Dr.Dre, Havoc, L.E.S., Live Squad, TrackMasters & MC Serch as Executivie Producer.
