Rich Homie drops off “You Not.”
Since pairing up with Young Thug for the Rich Gang tape last year, Rich Homie Quan’s solo music has taken on a less aggressive edge, incorporating spacey instrumentals and a lot more singing than was featured on his early material. His latest, “You Not,” continues this trend.

Producer Will-A-Fool brings an atmospheric instrumental that incorporates a ghostly choir to the table, and Quan spends three minutes melodically shitting on his competition. Along with all of the shit talk, though, comes a pang of regret. “You not that nigga I thought you was,” Quan sings, leaving us to wonder if we know the person he’s talking about.
