{"id":10971,"date":"2011-12-05T11:39:22","date_gmt":"2011-12-05T16:39:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thatdope.com\/food-drinks\/britains-biggest-restaurant-opens-in-bristol\/"},"modified":"2011-12-05T11:39:22","modified_gmt":"2011-12-05T16:39:22","slug":"britains-biggest-restaurant-opens-in-bristol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thatdope.com\/food-drinks\/britains-biggest-restaurant-opens-in-bristol\/","title":{"rendered":"Britain\u2019s biggest restaurant opens in Bristol"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"66.2911611785\">\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The biggest restaurant in the UK opened its doors this week with a capacity of feeding a small army of 2,100 diners a night.<\/p>\n<p>Bristol\u2019s harborside restaurant Za Za Bazaar spans 30,000 square feet (2,790 square meters) and two floors, and serves up an all-you-can-eat buffet that includes Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Italian and traditional British fare.<\/p>\n<p>Like a giant food court, diners take in a lay of the land, sidle up to different sections, choose their ingredients and watch as one of 36 chefs cook their meal.<br \/><span id=\"more-46117\"\/><br \/>Styled after Asian street markets, the restaurant is a smorgasbord of cuisines, ranging from Vietnamese, Tex-Mex, American BBQ and dessert bars and can accommodate a thousand diners in one seating.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-46122\" title=\"Za Za Bazaar restaurant buffet\" src=\"https:\/\/thatdope.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/1457039459_881_Britain\u2019s-biggest-restaurant-opens-in-Bristol.jpg\" alt=\"Za Za Bazaar restaurant buffet\" width=\"468\" height=\"311\"\/><\/p>\n<p>A wet bar will also serve more than 300 different drinks from five continents.<\/p>\n<p>The Bristol location in the southwest of England is the first of eight buffet restaurants the chain hopes to build throughout the UK.
