In the latest installment of the Cullinan video teaser series,\u00a0Rolls-Royce\u2019s latest Cullinan teaser proves that it is a dune bashing beast.<\/h3>\n<p>Code named Cullinan since Rolls\u2019 announcement, the British luxury carmaker\u2019s first-ever SUV, is almost ready for launch.<\/p>\n<p>Its\u00a0name is inspired by the Cullinan Diamond, the largest flawless diamond ever found. The 3,106-carat gem was dug up in South Africa\u2019s Magaliesberg Mountains\u00a0and named after the owner of the mine, Thomas Cullinan. Rolls likens the solidity and precious nature of the giant diamond to its new SUV, coined as\u00a0a \u201chigh-bodied vehicle\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-189855\" src=\"https:\/\/thatdope.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1524578439_220_you-wouldnt-wear-your-jimmy-choos-on-a-hike-but-you-can-take-your-rolls-royce-through-a-desert.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"500\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>The \u2018All-Terrain High-Sided Bodied Vehicle\u2019 can be seen ripping across the dunes outside of Dubai. The teaser clip begins with a prototype hidden under camouflage wrap leaving the Dubai cityscape behind, and heading deep into the desert. Giving us a glimpse of its capability off the road, the luxury car\u00a0is filmed with plenty of drifting and fancy jumping over\u00a0sandy dunes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-189856\" src=\"https:\/\/thatdope.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1524578439_818_you-wouldnt-wear-your-jimmy-choos-on-a-hike-but-you-can-take-your-rolls-royce-through-a-desert.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"500\"  \/>As\u00a0the launch date approaches closer, the Goodwood-based marque has started accepting expressions of interest along with deposits to reserve a model of what that might be\u00a0the most expensive SUV on\u00a0the market.<\/p>\n<p>It is speculated that\u00a0the Cullinan will share\u00a0some similarities in its engine and chassis with\u00a0the eighth-generation Phantom that debuted last year. Apart from\u00a0an\u00a0aluminum-intensive chassis\u00a0to keep its weight in check, it\u00a0might also boost a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"625\" height=\"352\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CjyhYq13k48?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Ahead of its launch, the Cullinan was\u00a0tested across different terrains and environments, with this Dubai run as \u201cThe Final Challenge\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Cullinan\u2019s public debut is set at the\u00a0end of this\u00a0year, and arrive in showrooms next year with a six digits price tag.
