Last night, court documents were obtained showing that Wayne\u2019s attorney filed a notice on May 23 claiming \u201call sides\u201d were down for dismissing the suit. Universal then cut a settlement check to Wayne for \u201cwell over $10 million.\u201d The documents also allege that Wayne is now officially off of Cash Money and that <em>Tha Carter V<\/em> will be released through Universal. HYPEBEAST has reached out to Cash Money reps for comment. <\/p>\n<p><em>Tha Carter V<\/em> was supposed to release years ago as Wayne\u2019s final album and has been in headlines since 2012. \u201cI know y\u2019all want me around for a little bit, and <em>Carter V<\/em> is my last album,\u201d Weezy told Sway during <em>I Am Not a Human Being II<\/em> promo. \u201cMan, I\u2019ve been rappin\u2019 since I was 8 years old. I\u2019m 30 now, man. That\u2019s a long time, man.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The legal battle between Wayne and Birdman dates back to December 2014 when Wayne took to Twitter to share his displeasures with Cash Money and Baby.
