The revered American musician and songwriter, James Alan Hetfield is being honored yet again, this time with a public exhibition at the Petersen Automotive Museum of Los Angeles. The display entitled \u2018Reclaimed Rust: The James Hetfield Collection\u2019<\/em>, celebrates his time as frontman of Metallica as well as his love for automobiles and guitars.<\/p>\n

Built from scratch with the assistance of esteemed engineer, Rick Burn; Hetfield is a proud life-long car enthusiast, channeling a different form of creativity and artistic expression through his distinctive collection, whilst forging a bridge between the two industries.<\/p>\n

Of all his extensively meticulous work both in music and in manufacturing, Reclaimed Rust<\/em> will feature the 1948 Jaguar \u2018Black Pearl\u2019, 1934 Packard \u2018Aquarius\u2019, 1953 Buick Skylark \u2018Skyscraper\u2019, 1937 Lincoln Zephyr \u2018Voodoo Priest\u2019, and the 1936 Auburn \u2018Slow Burn.\u2019<\/p>\n

The exhibition on 1st<\/sup> February 2020, also marks the first time James Hetfield\u2019s collection will ever be showcased to the public.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
