The Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e has since closed for restoration.<\/p>\n<p>Ducasse commented, \u201cI am honoured that Franka Holtmann, general manager of Le Meurice, with the support of Fran\u00e7ois Delahaye, chief operating officer of Dorchester Collection, has asked me to join Le Meurice. French cuisine has a major place, a role and an impact in the world today.
