The closest most will come to the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta V-12 GT is walking past it in a hotel or restaurant parking lot or at a car show. We can’t argue with the F12 Berlinetta’s 730-hp 6.3-liter V-12 or its estimated 211-mph top speed, but Ferrari’s war with Lamborghini really begins in a battle of perception and, compared to the last big front-engine rear-drive V-12 Ferrari supercar, we think the Italian automaker is off to a great start.
