At the beginning of last month, Terrace Martin announced his new solo album and introduced the project with its lead single, “Valdez Off Crenshaw.” Since then, he’s spent the bulk of recent weeks promoting and supporting his Velvet Portraits LP by liberating new tracks off the record.
