Bringing his signature charisma and flair to the Microsoft Theatre stage, the Californian singer-songwriter-rapper-producer reminded everyone why he’s one of the most buzzed-about names in both the hip hop and R&B scenes. His performance was preceded by a surprise opening performance of “Freedom” from Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar and a string of tributes to Prince from artists like The Roots, D’Angelo, Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu and more.
