Built in France, the Monte Carlo 52 is 16.25m (53ft 4in) long with a beam of 4.6m (15ft 1in), wider than the Monte Carlo 5 (MC5), the model she replaces.

Nuvolari-Lenard is again responsible for the exterior design, creating an elegant, contemporary profile for the new cruiser. The interior is by Andréani Design while the V-hull was designed in partnership with MICAD.

The new hull has helped create a larger saloon, which features a minimalist décor of light-coloured woodwork and linings. The interior is very bright due to huge saloon windows, while the open aft galley connects well with the cockpit once the doors are open.

The lower deck features a full-beam owner’s suite with en-suite midships, a forward guest cabin and a VIP in the bow, and a shared bathroom. There’s also the option of a crew cabin aft, while the spaces on the flybridge have been reorganised compared to the MC5.
