The latest collector’s bottle from Absolut is an absolute stunner, a collaboration between the trendy Swedish vodka label and British graphic artist Jamie Hewlett. Created to celebrate that most iconic of cities, Absolut London condenses two hundred years of British style and fashion heritage into a single bottle design.
Set against London landmarks like St Paul’s Cathedral and the Gherkin, the illustration features seven British ‘types’, including the 18th century dandy, the pinstripe gent, the 60s chick, punk and 80s casual.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the partnership with Absolut, Jamie Hewlett said: “London has such a fascinating and rich history which has inspired me over the years. For Absolut London I chose to re-create seven iconic characters from different eras who are largely defined by their style as well as their impactful contribution to London’s culture at the time.”
Just 49 bottles of Absolut London will be offered at the Selfridges and Harvey Nichols boutiques in London starting March 1. If you’ve missed out, fifty additional unique collectors gift packs will also go on sale on March 22.
