This immaculate Volkswagen Beetle from 1965 has just hit Bring a Trailer
and is up for grabs! The iconic car has had only one owner and
underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment in 2005. Work included
rebuilds of the transmission and gearbox, new floor pans, and a repaint
in the factory shade of Sea Blue. Black-painted steel wheels are
equipped with polished hubcaps and cream-colored beauty rings. The
gorgeous interior features a a sunroof, mesh grey leatherette seats
with lap belts, a factory push-button radio, a two-spoke steering wheel,
salt-and-pepper carpets, and two-tone door panels. Power comes from a
1,200cc flat-four engine that was also rebuilt, linked with a 4-speed
