BMW is
teasing the future of sports cars by introducing the 600 BHP plug-in
hybrid Vision M Next concept supercar. Very much looking like a worthy
evolution of the i8, the impressive BMW Vision M Next is a plug-in
hybrid with a PHEV system that can switch from electric all-wheel-drive
to a rear-wheel-drive system and is propelled via electricity or a
turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The carbon fiber-bodied 2-seater can
hit 60 mph in less than 3.0s, and a top speed of 186 mph. In
electric-only mode, the Vision M Next will drive for 62 miles. The
minimal interior has a razor sharp focus on the driver designed to
reduce distractions, with an augmented reality system that will project
information onto the window screen in your direct field of view.
