50 Cent on Mayweather’s Feelings on McGregor

After years in exile, due to a shooting outside the studio, 50 Cent finally returned to Hot 97 to talk about a spectrum of recent events. The Unit, sitting down with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez, was primarily back in the studio to promote his new variety show 50 Central — airing on BET.

Yet the biggest reveal, especially for fans of the fight game, came when Ebro asked 50 if he’d been in contact with longtime friend Floyd Mayweather since his showdown with Conor McGregor. 50 stated that the pair Facetime’d a few days ago and Floyd mentioned that he wasn’t really feeling Conor. “He really didn’t like him,” 50 said. “All that, he’s getting away with touching his head? That’s not Floyd, he ain’t like that.” The rapper also went on to explain how Floyd had bet $3 million USD on himself to win that fight. Of course, 50 also cashed in himself but he wouldn’t reveal to the Hot 97 gang how much he walked away with.

Be sure to check out the full-length interview above, which also covers Cardi B’s rising influence and 50 Cent’s feelings about Donald Trump.
