Though the 2018 Boston Marathon doesn’t take place until April of next year, adidas has already released a new capsule to celebrate the 122nd road race. Teaming up with the Boston Athletic Association, the new adidas lineup consists of hoodies, T-shirts, bags, headwear and a special Boston Marathon Celebration Jacket.
The standout piece of the collection also marks adidas’s 30th anniversary as the exclusive footwear and apparel partner of the Boston Marathon, who has dressed nearly 10,000 B.A.A. volunteers and more than 3,500 race officials, media, and medical personnel. The Celebration jacket comes in two colorways of “Hi-Res Red” and “Real Coral,” representing the heart rate of a marathon runner, along with reflective Three Stripes running down the length of the arm.
The Boston Marathon Celebration jacket, along with the full collection, is available now at select adidas retailers, adidas.com and in limited quantities at the Boston Marathon RunBase for $110 USD.
