Capitol Records x Klipsch Heritage Speakers

Audio company Klipsch has teamed up with Capitol Records to release a speaker line layered in a throwback aesthetic. The special edition Heritage blends modern technology showcased in a vintage design to celebrate the pairs seven decades of service. Each model in the new line has a blonde and tan woven grille cloth or ebony salt and pepper cloth option slapped with luxury wood veneer, gunmetal switches, and nobs.

The Capitol One speaker is a semi-portable device with eight-hour rechargeable battery and Bluetooth, as well as inputs for smartphones, computers, and CD players. It also utilized a 4.5-inch woofer for playback.

The Capitol Three is the largest device with a similar look to the One but includes a phono preamp and RCA inputs for turntables, Wi-Fi connectivity for the Klipsch music stream app, and a larger 5.25-inch long-throw woofer.

The third iteration of the Capitol Heresy features three-way compact speakers with a 12-inch woofer, horn-loaded midrange driver, and a tweeter showcased in a wood-veneer cabinet handcrafted in Hope, Arkansas, signed by the folks that built it.

The Capitol One will retail for $400, the Capitol Three for $500, and the Heresy III for $1300 each, which includes a free record from Capitol Records’ catalog.
