From previous hits like “I Did It For My Dawgz” and “Bitches and Bottles” to recent smashes “I’m the One” and “Do You Mind,” he’s risen to the top. The feature guests on his new ‘Grateful’ album prove it – the parade of names is a who’s who of modern rap. Beyoncé & Jay-Z, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Quavo, Future, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Nas, Rick Ross, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Pusha T, T.I – and lots of others. The man behind ‘Major Key,’ who has turned some of his philosophical tidbits into the inspirational book, ‘The Keys,’ came into the Vevo office and gave us some perspective on the shoot for his latest video, “Wild Thoughts,” featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller. They shot the video in Miami’s Little Haiti, and its party vibe will keep us moving all summer long. See what he has to say about it in Show & Tell.
