Drake Goes Savage Mode at Philadelphia ‘Summer Sixteen’ Show

For the most part of 2016, we thought that the Drake-Meek Mill beef had been put to rest. However, during his latest Philadelphia ‘Summer Sixteen’ show, the Toronto rapper once fired shots at Meek on his hometown. Drake was donning the jersey of Philly hero Allen Iverson and changed the lyrics of “Trophies” from “This a f*ck-them-boys, forever-hold-a-grudge song” to “fuck-that-boy-forever, I hold a grudge son.” He also rapped some new “Still Here” lyrics, saying: “Man you not really from Philly and they can tell n*gga.” During his set, Drizzy brought out Lil Wayne as guest performer, performing hits like “HYFR” and “A Milli.” Drake also teased a second co-headlining tour with Weezy, following their Street Fighter-themed one in 2014. Finally, the 6 God changed up the lyrics of “Back to Back,” rapping: “I did another one, I did another one / I even did this sh*t in Philly, man another one.” He ended the track off with a very unsubtle shot: “And just remember, when you watch that video over and over tonight, it’s not about your city, I love your city. You did that shit to your motherf*ckin’ self boy.” Check out tweets and video clips from witnesses below.
