After working with J.W. Anderson earlier this year, Matchesfashion.com is back with another exclusive capsule. For its latest joint release, the London-based retailer has worked with Maison Margiela on a ten-piece capsule that builds on the themes from the label’s Fall/Winter 2018 collection.
Arguably the key piece in the collection is the Crombie tailored coat, which is constructed from virgin wool and features velvet turn-back pockets, décortiqué stitching and string belts. Elsewhere, the collection includes sportswear influences — including a fleece tracksuit — as well as knitwear pieces and a colorful nylon bomber jacket. Alongside apparel, the collection features a new “Mustard” colorway of the label’s signature Replica sneaker. The exclusive Maison Margiela collection is available exclusively from the Matchesfashion.com web store, with prices ranging from £275 to £1745 (approx. $360 USD to $2300 USD).
