Ridley Scott’s ‘All the Money in the World’ Trailer

Stepping away from the role of Frank Underwood for a bit, Kevin Spacey is following up his role in Baby Driver with yet another big screen turn, this time teaming up with Ridley Scott for the director’s first film since Alien: Covenant. Dubbed All the Money in the World, the real-life crime drama is based on the events surrounding the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer). Set in Rome back in 1973, the film stars Spacey as Getty’s billionaire grandfather — a man who infamously refused to pay the $17 million USD ransom the kidnappers demanded for Getty III’s safe return.

Co-starring Michelle Williams as Getty III’s mother, Gail, and Mark Wahlberg as her advisor, All the Money in the World hits theaters December 8.
