As we all sit in quarantine, awaiting an end that may not come for a long while, it looks like there’s some positive news awaiting us in May: the inbound drop of the silhouette’s Basketball variant. Constructed unlike that of its predecessors, the mid-top offering boasts a construction inspired by retro performance sneakers though with an applied YZY filter. The upper — whose inner weaves marble as characteristic in its shades of light and dark grey — arrives outfitted with invisible supports throughout and a pronounced suede toe cap. Ankles then heighten by a small margin for security, leading downwards to a reinforced heel counter and cushioned bottom — the latter bolstered by the use of the Three Stripes’ patented Boost tech.
