From the 1985 shape of the Air Jordan 1 to yet another collaboration with Off-White’s very own Virgil Abloh, the Jumpman’s 2020 is off to quite a good start. But with still 10 months left to go, there’s still much more to unveil — the insiders now dropping first looks at purple-clad classics and, excitingly, the revival of the Air Jordan 13 “Flint.” Originally released back in the late 90s, the versatile colorway had only hit the scene in seldom, dropping once in 2005 then quickly after in 2010 to then take up hiatus for now a decade. Years apart, it still retains many of its signature details: blue exteriors hiding within reflective accents while grey and white neutrals outfit the smooth leathers and tooling only adjacent. Elsewhere, “Jordan” marked tabs hit the dubrae, placed far underneath the tongue whose colorless finish marks with aqua-tinged insignia at its peak. Grab a detailed look at this year’s take on the “Flint” and expect to find it hitting select shops come the rumored April 18th date.
