In an effort to further to their co-creative relationship that began in 2014, John Elliott has revealed a brand new gold colorway of his Nike LeBron Icon sneaker at his FW19 fashion show. Boasting the same aesthetic as their previous renditions, this Icon model is clearly engineered for lifestyle use, but equips the hoops-ready design language that continues to make the King’s signature line of footwear one of the Swoosh’s most popular. Swapping out its customary simple blacks and whites with a monarchial gold on its midfoot striping decals, this is the most luxurious looking design the two have drawn up to date. With a full-length Air Max unit sitting underneath its complex upper, this hoops-lifestyle crossover draws favor from numerous different Beaverton fan camps. With the new colorway having first debuted on Elliott’s runway, you can enjoy a first look above and stay tuned for updates regarding a potential retail release.
