Natasha Cloud Converse WNBA Announcement 2020

Natasha Cloud is the newest member of Converse‘s family.

The 28-year-old Washington Mystics guard joins Draymond Green and Kelly Oubre Jr. in regaining influence within the performance-basketball space for The One Star Brand. While known for her quickness on the court, which contributed to the Mystics’ first-ever WNBA Championship (2018-19), Cloud brings an equally important commitment to advocate-work to Converse.

“The biggest thing,” said Cloud, “is for me to use my platform as a microphone. That’s the goal, be a voice for the voiceless.”

The Broomall, PA-native has extended her leadership efforts beyond the court and into the realm of speaking out against racial injustice. Furthermore, Cloud has vocalized her support for women and the LGBTQ+ community. Converse recently pledged $40 million over four years to the black community through its NIKE, Inc. parent company; it aims to spark change not only within sports, but also within society-at-large with the help of individuals like Cloud.
