Nike Air Max 720 Bubble Pack CD0683-400

Across all of Nike’s lifestyle footwear offerings, there are colorways and designs fitting of any given personality and mood. And while loud and quiet options cover The Swoosh Brand’s diverge range of sneakers, the former exclusively doubles-down on the Air Max 720. Boasting Nike’s tallest Air-unit when it debuted February 2019, the Air Max 720 is inherently bold. It was designed that way by Dylan Raasch and Jesi Small of Nike Sportswear; even when dressed in triple-black or white ensembles, its wavelike textile and synthetic upper, complete with molded panels, ensure passersby at least give them a glance. So this forthcoming “Bubble Pack” iteration must guarantee a “What are those?!,” right?

Clad in a “Hyper Blue” and “Magic Flamingo” gradient not too far off from the Air Max 720’s “Northern Lights” debut, upper bases on this pair are accompanied by bubble-wrap detailing at the profiles, tongue, and heel. Surrounded by curved molded lines, the dimpled texture is left clear, allowing the twilight color scheme to shine through. Branding on the tongue, however, becomes slightly difficult to read through the tiny protrusions, but “AIRMAX” text on the insole offer clarity. Unlike its top-half counterpart, the cushion-providing Air bubble and its plastic railing are given a glossy, pitch-black makeup with outsoles rounding out the compelling design in a semi-translucent copy of the upper gradient.

This Air Max 720 is rumored to drop at the end of February alongside similarly decorated pairs of the Air Max 90 and Air Max 270. For now, grab a closer look at the shoes below and keep it locked here for updates.
