This year has surely been a busy one for Nike’s Air Max 95, as it has become a trending canvas on which many popular brands have infused their own personal vision. With Supreme gearing up to release their own take on the silhouette and the eclectic Cav Empt providing a graphic-heavy reimagining, the Beaverton brand themselves wanted to show off their own unique design ethos. Swapping the tongue logo with the swoosh that is normally found on the heel, Nike is making a subtle play on their usual branding, adding a stark visual break in the colorway’s overall gray palette. The Air Max 95 Essential is currently available at retailer JDSports, but expect a stateside release from other stockists very soon at a retail of $160 USD.
