As one of Asia’s most renowned sneaker customizers and cobblers, The Remade has garnered quite a reputation for remixing epic kicks with artistry and craftmanship that very few in the custom sneakers realm have. As part of their annual recognition of Chinese New Year, they’ve completely transformed the Air More Uptempo with red leather uppers, “CNY” lettering (with the Yuan representing the Y), and other key details on the heel. To make this remake even more epic is the heat-triggered color-changing exterior that transforms the red into the bright yellow. The Remade confirms that only 55 pairs have been created, and the only way to purchase one is through Woaw Store, or by entering a raffle at Supermen Hot Pot restaurants in Beijing and Shanghai beginning on February 2nd.
