For the uninitiated, the BW in the models stands for ‘Big Window’ – a reference to what was considered the largest visible air unit at the time. Even though Air Max played a huge part in this classic model, it was never in the silhouette’s official name. That didn’t stop fans overseas from quickly considering this pair to be a classic sneaker anyways, as the UK and other regions have celebrated this model more so than here in the states. Now Nike Sportswear is bringing a few updates exclusively for women, as three tonal colorways showcase Tinker’s 1991 hit in orange, grey, or royal.
