Using the recently re-introduced GEL-Lyte—the original model from the series of lightweight runners that spawned the popular GEL-Lyte III and GEL-Lyte V—size? pays tribute to Japan’s love of baseball. Subtle nods to the sport are present throughout the sneaker, including a satin base to reference the material traditionally used to make baseball uniforms and tonal baseball-style cross-stitching along the midfoot and heel panels in suede.
Limited to only 500 pairs worldwide, the size? x ASICS GEL-Lyte “Japanese Baseball” will be available soon via the size? Previews App and in selected size? stores. Retail is set at £90.00.
