Swedish label Our Legacy has reopened its London store, with a new redesign from architecture studio Arrhov/Frick. Located on Silver Place in Soho, the store has a minimalist and functional aesthetic, designed to act as a background to the collections on display in the store. Key features of the store include a wooden floor recycled from a gym hall, marble elements, steel fittings and floaty silk curtains by Akane Moriyama.
As well as redesigning the original Silver Place store, Our Legacy has also opened the doors to a womenswear-dedicated space next door. This new store comes after the label introduced womenswear for the first time for Spring/Summer 2019.
Speaking about the design of the two stores, Our Legacy co-founder Jockum Hallin explained that “the spaces are put together to convey both relaxation and inspiration to our visitors,” adding that “both spaces are clean and minimal yet comfortable and homely.”
