adidas‘ young star in Donovan Mitchell is moving onto the second round of the NBA Playoffs. This season’s rookie of the year conversation has included one other option, Ben Simmons of the 76ers. The questionable factor of the argument is if Simmons is considered a true rookie since missing a season due to injury.
As a result, adidas has cooked up a t-shirt to campaign for Mitchell to receive the award. The piece simply places the term “Rookie?” on its chest above adidas’ signature logo. Retailing for $25 USD, adidas’ rookie tee is currently available for preorder and will officially launch on May 4 in black and white options. This t-shirt arrives on the heels of Donovan showing up to a previous game wearing a hoodie with the definition of rookie placed on the front.
