Best Sneaker/Footwear Releases February 2020 Week 4

As the march towards March and the warm embrace of spring continues, footwear brands are doing their best to turn up the temperature with a bevy of hot releases. This week’s expansive slate contains everything from collaborative skate kicks to updated tennis classics and basketball shoes, but before we get into the goodness, let’s make sure we’re all caught up on everything that went down over the last seven days.

Collaborators rule the day in today’s world of sneakers, and nobody fanned the (la) flames of hype over the past seven days more than Travis Scott. The furious footwear force made his kicks available via a raffle on his website, and accompanied them with a full skate-geared apparel collection. If you weren’t one of the lucky few who hit, check out a comprehensive store list for the full drop next weekend.

Moving from music to movies, HYPEBEAST sat down for an exclusive interview with actor/director/style-king Jonah Hill during adidas’s “World’s Best Career Day” in Chicago, in which he discussed his relationship with the Three Stripes, mentoring future filmmakers and his famous ‘fits. Finally, we were given a official look at Supreme’s divisive Air Force 1 collaboration and its heavily branded extra laces.

It can’t be an eventful week in sneakers without some noise from the ever-present Kanye West. ‘Ye followed up his triumphant truck procession from NBA All-Star Weekend by debuting a milky new colorway of the YZY BSKTBL Quantum. Elsewhere in the world of adidas, publisher TASCHEN announced an archival book that tells the Three Stripes’ story over the course of a whopping 357 silhouettes.

Moving from the Trefoil to the Swoosh, Nike’s ever-popular Air Force 1 Low and Blazer Mid both appeared in “Sketch” makeups with plenty of hand-scrawled style. Converse made some noise, with both Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God Essentials (Chuck 70 Hi) and fragment/Moncler (Chuck 70 Lo) showing off new takes on the Chuck 70. New Balance got in on the action, premiering Kawhi Leonard’s first-ever true signature silhouette.

Now that we’re all caught up, let’s go ahead and dive into a dozen of this week’s most dashing drops. Get all the details you need below, and for a full list of releases be sure to peep our Drops page when you’re finished.
