Converse Japan Reintroduces REACT Technology to Its Celebrated All Star

Converse has reintroduced the new and improved REACT technology exclusive to its Japan market. The initial release of REACT Juice in 1992 incorporated a responsive gas-charged fluid that flows through the compartments within the shoe. This technology was paired with a visco-elastic compound in the heel which dispersed the shock of impact. Differing from past designs, the new REACT system contains enhanced lightweight, cushioning, EVA foam insoles with ventilation holes for improved breathability. The improved technology has since been widely used by the Boston-based footwear brand, applied to the build of its All Star silhouette alongside special collaborations such as its XLARGE release. The REACT All Star is priced at ¥6,500 JPY (approximately $60 USD).
