Lomography Bridges Technology With the Past by Recreating the First Photographic Optic Lens

Lomography has long been known to bring back the charm and fun of vintage photography, but they have just gone a step further and recreated the world’s first photographic lens — the Daguerrotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens. Putting a modern spin to the age-old scope, it will be mountable to a variety of DSLR cameras with a 64mm focal length and a f/2.9 aperture capable of shooting both sharp and dreamy images. Included in the package is the Waterhouse Aperture Plate system that offers unique textures. Check out more on its Kickstarter page, where the lens has already reached its funding goal.
