Matt McCormick Releases Artwork on Tappan Collective

Emerging artist platform Tappan Collective stopped by Matt McCormick‘s studio to get an intimate look at the painter’s workspace and process. Fueled by motifs of Western Americana and the human experience, the LA-based multimedia artist releases a new series of prints and original works featuring commonplace items like cacti, swings and lawn chairs, contrasted with spontaneous, gestural abstraction. Titled “Early Entropy,” the assemblage invites people to project their own narratives as emotions are often tied with objects based on individual experiences.
