Nike Future Sport Forum Summer 2020 Collaborations

Ahead of this year’s Olympics in Tokyo, Nike has unveiled its Summer 2020 collaborations at its Future Sport Forum. Taking place during New York Fashion Week, the sportswear giant revealed it has partnered with five international fashion icons to create new expressions of sport to accompany the upcoming Olympics.

Nike has teamed up with Yoon Ahn‘s AMBUSH, Jun Takahashi‘s UNDERCOVER, Chitose Abe‘s sacai, Virgil Abloh’s Off-White™ and Matthew M. Williams of 1017 ALYX 9SM on five distinct sport-inspired collections. Each designer has investigated the idea of an athlete and athletic apparel to express their unique manifestations of sports. Accompanying each range is a footwear creation that builds on the design codes established by each designer with their previous collaborative releases with Nike.

The collaborations revealed at the Future Sport Forum are collectively part of Nike’s initiative to highlight the unifying value of sport. Revealing that the elements tied to sport are rooted in imagination, possibility and vibrancy.
