2016 fall/winter sees Penfield building upon the technical expansion and development witnessed in recent seasons. With new Head of Design Simon Oates, the Massachusetts brand has begun experimenting with new materials. Matte 3M reflective fabric has been used for the first time on perennial pieces such as the Kasson jacket and the Outback body warmer. The lightweight Oakdale and the newly introduced Vanleer bomber both point towards Penfield’s newfound utilitarian direction.
