A Million Dollar Complex Piece That spells “Adventure”
While the Tourbillion Adventure is not the first watch Sylvester Stallone has given his name to, it is definitely one that sets itself apart from his other creations (like the Montegrappa Chaos watch). Mr Stallone substituted snakes and skulls for a set of remarkable features to create a watch for the ultimate adventurist. Priced just slightly below a million dollars, the watch presents a huge watch case made of carbon Thin Ply Technologies, a carbon fibre composite made up of alternating layers of carbon for additional robustness.
The distinguishing Rambo-approved feature is the detachable compass bezel made in titanium and a secret compartment containing five water purification tablets. The detached compass can be mounted on the frame with a simple twist and pull lock for map navigation, with the green capsule at the 4 o’clock ensuring that the watch is laid flat when using the compass.
Inside the case, a tourbillon-equipped titanium competition chronograph movement has a 24-hour time display to access the AM and the PM. To complete the look, the Richard Mille RM 25-01 Tourbillion Adventure comes with a camo print that translates the adventurous theme of the watch.
