Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Superhero Series “The Boys”

At New York Comic Con, we got a first teaser for the new Amazon series, The Boys. Helmed by Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, this is the second title to receive a live-action adaptation from Preacher-creators, Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The premise of the series is that some superheroes may have become corrupted by celebrity and power, and “The Boys” are there to keep them in check. The dark series will follow their quest to expose a supergroup called, “The Seven,” as well as the financiers who keep them afloat. The series has not received an official release date, but we can expect it to hit Amazon Prime in 2019. Check out the two posters below, which give a brief glimpse at both teams.
