SSENSE Dogwear Collaboration 1017 ALYX 9SM Release

Following behind the debut of its luxury dogwear collection in December, SSENSE has now released the second installment of the premium canine goods for Spring/Summer 2020. After tapping designers including Burberry, Heron Preston, Moncler Genius and more for the first assortment, the Montreal-based retailer has now added even more of today’s buzziest names to the roster, recruiting 1017 ALYX 9SM, Martine Ali, and Laura Lombardi for its latest round of collaborations.

The new styles encompass a mix of industrial pieces and more playful options in order to suit a range of pooch personalities. For ALYX, its signature penchant for buckles and metal hardware comes through in the form of various collar and leash sets, which are equipped with leather straps for even more of a high-quality touch. Ali, meanwhile, interprets her edgy jewelry designs into intricate, silver-tone hardware for her leash editions.

The new drop also presents exclusive product from some of the previous collaborators, including Serre, Paul Smith and Ashley Williams. Standouts include Serre’s upcycled dog harness featuring her popular moon print as an all-over pattern, which is accentuated with faded blue detailing for a breezy SS20 rendition. Meanwhile, Smith’s rainbow-hued collars and leashes lend some of the most colorful accessories throughout the pup-inspired capsule.

Priced from $50 USD to $795 USD, the dogwear collection is available to shop now at SSENSE’s webstore.

Elsewhere in the world of fashion collaborations, Chinatown Market and AKILA have recently linked up on a sunglass capsule dubbed “Smiley®” Ethos.
