Supreme Spring/Summer 19 Drop List for Week 15

With another week, we have another installment of our product drops series this time led by Supreme‘s collaboration with the NFL‘s Oakland Raiders and ‘47. Celebrating the iconic “Raiders” logo, the collaborative range is comprised of a short-sleeve shirt, T-shirts, twill shorts, hoodies and a five-panel hat.  Additionally, the New York label teamed up with Pearl Drums on a boldly branded Session Studio Drum Kit and tapped Italian textile company Frette for a set of cotton terry slippers. Palace also returned for Drop 6 of its Summer 2019 collection marked by the Famo Shell Jacket available in three colors. Aside from Supreme’s Week 15 Drop and Palace’s Drop 6, this week we have an impressive array of special releases and accessory launches that make up a selection of must-have street staples.

A standout collaboration this week comes in the form of a Cyrillic emblazoned capsule from KM20 and A-COLD-WALL*.  Burberry launched its FW19 pre-collection with a new campaign, Patta is set to drop its colorful Denim capsule and Palm Angel‘s Francesco Ragazzi is delivering his installment of the ongoing Moncler Genius project. Elsewhere, Brain Dead is moving into eyewear with its “Post Modern Primitive Eye Protection” collection and Saint Laurent recently launched its new “NUXX” men’s accessory line under the direction of Anthony Vaccarello.

Key items this week include the Supreme’s Frette Slippers, Palace’s Famo Shell Jackets, Brain Dead’s Tani frame in “Electric Blue,” Saint Laurent’s “NUXX” duffle bag and the shiny Moncler Genius 8 – MONCLER PALM ANGELS puffer jackets. Burberry Fall/Winter 2019 Pre-Collection Campaign

Moving through the seasons, Burberry presented its FW19 pre-collection campaign designed by Riccardo Tisci. The standout formal looks is comprised of a mix of traditional tailoring and reworked heritage staples.

Standout items include the black topstitch-detailed coat, the pinstriped wool suit and a camel colored cashmere single breasted coat. The pieces modernize the traditional Burberry aesthetic sensibility, while pieces like the orange oversized-print silk puffer scarf, the khaki nylon take on the classic trench coat and a Thomas Burberry Monogram-printed jacket spotlight the label’s more contemporary offerings.

Saint Laurent “NUXX” Men’s Accessory Line

Continuing to expand on its offerings, Saint Laurent recently launched its new “NUXX” men’s accessory line. Informed by Anthony Vaccarello’s refined punk take on luxury, the range features a progressive twist on leather accessories and nylon carrying options that take cues from gym gear.

The affordably priced nylon duffel bags, body bags, wallets and key rings feature simple lightweight constructions marked with contrasting “SAINT LAURENT” branding. Additional detailing comes in the form of tonal zippers and functionality focused D-rings.

Brain Dead Spring/Summer 2019 “Post Modern Primitive Eye Protection” Eyewear Collection

Brain Dead recently put together its inaugural foray into eyewear. Dubbed “Post Modern Primitive Eye Protection,” the first delivery of the SS19 eyewear offering carries forth with the imprint’s unique approach to retrofuturistic aesthetics inspired by punk, comics, and skateboarding. The three styles named Tani, Elia, and Chibi are all crafted with thick cellulose acetate that is eco-friendly and bio-degradable.

The first batch of colorways includes the Tani in Electric Blue, the Elia in a Silver Flake finish, and the Chibi in classic Tortoise. All models feature sturdy and durable zinc-free barrel hinges as well as optical-quality nylon lenses that utilize 100% UV protection, and come with a custom Brain Dead case and cleaning cloth.

KM20 x A-COLD-WALL* “ХОЛОДНАЯ СТЕНА” Capsule Collection

Moscow-based concept store KM20 and A-COLD-WALL* have come together once again on a four-piece capsule as part of the retailer’s “Love Exchange” series.

The collection is called “ХОЛОДНАЯ СТЕНА” which translates to A-COLD-WALL* in Russian and features a hooded sweatshirt, T-shirt, crossbody bag and a Panama hat. Each piece is adorned with signature A-COLD-WALL* industrial designs such as the bracket logo, garment tags and arrows. The T-shirt and hoodie are also marked with large Cyrillic “ХОЛОДНАЯ СТЕНА” logos and the Panama hat and crossbody bag are dressed subtly with contrast hardware and stitching. “Developed in collaboration with KM20,” also written in Cyrillic lettering rounds up the design of the collaboration.

Moncler Genius 8 – MONCLER PALM ANGELS

For his installment of the Moncler Genius project, Palm Angel‘s Francesco Ragazzi looked to inject a sense of darkness into the purity that is the Italian label’s offerings.

Referencing fearless urban silhouettes, the new range is defined by a punk spirit defined by big and assertive silhouettes, vibrant sheen finishes and choice distressing. Metallic nylon is used on the classic duvets and collages have been used to create patterns that elevate puffers and graffiti logos were used to create a vandal-esque aesthetic. Spiky studs and added zippers create an over the top look that matches the defiant feeling of the collection. Finally, hooded sweatshirts, scarves and other Moncler logo emblazoned accessories fill out Francesco’s offerings.

Patta Magazine Denim

After unveiling its Magazine Denim co-ord in its SS19 lookbook, Patta is now gearing up to drop its colorful capsule.

Comprised of a jacket, pants and a cap. Each item is decorated in a mix of bold, pop art-influenced doodles which features characters and motifs like naked demons, skulls, flames and Patta branding, paired against a backdrop of pink, white, teal, yellow and purple blocks.

Supreme Spring/Summer 2019 Collection Drop 15

Back with another heavy-hitting collaboration, Supreme recently teamed up with the NFL‘s Oakland Raiders and ‘47. The team-up is comprised of a short-sleeve shirt, T-shirts, twill shorts, hoodies and a five-panel hat marked heavily with the iconic “Raiders” logo derived from the Jolly Roger flag. If that wasn’t enough, the New York label also teamed up with Pearl Drums on a boldly branded Session Studio Drum Kit revealed by Animal of The Muppets. Also, Supreme tapped Italian textile company Frette for a set of cotton terry slippers with debossed branding and treaded rubber soles.

For Week 15 of Supreme’s SS19 releases, the accompanying range features standouts like a Nylon Cargo Vest in four colors, faded Overdyed Hooded Sweatshirts, playfully marked Deep Space Skate Pants, luxe Plaid Velour Shorts and simple Leather Waist/Shoulder Bags.

Palace Summer 2019 Collection Drop 6

Continuing the release of its Summer 2019 collection, Palace has put together another selection of uniquely British for Drop 6 of its ongoing series of releases along with a new collaboration with adidas Originals.

This time around, the adidas Originals Superstar was done in three bold colorways. The uppers are constructed of premium leather marked with perforated three-stripes branding at the sides and Palace’s “Das logo mit 3 Palace. Never gets old” stick figure adi logo at the tongue. The heel top is stamped with Palace’s logo in a subtle sheen over soft suede. The sidewalls are also trimmed with “PALACE” in gold. Finally, each colorway is elevated by off white ecru midsoles paired with the Superstar’s classic rubber toe-cap shells.

Drop 6 of the Palace’s Summer 2019 collection is led by the Famo Shell Jacket available in a selection of colorways. Other notable items include the embroidered pattern “Funkalistic” Sweatshirts, Splitter Tri-Ferg T-shirt, “Sofar” T-shirt and some functional side bags.
